Derived from the Latin word for “face”, Cara is a Paris based annual print magazine at the crossroads of social sciences, beauty and fashion, with each edition focusing on a different part of the face. Our aim is to explore the face from every angle, by bringing together those who shape beauty standards (photographers, professionals from the fashion and beauty industries) and those who analyse them (journalists, researchers). Cara strongly believes in a cross disciplinary approach that provides knowledges, entertain and inspire its readers both visually and intellectually.
